Greetings from CO Khon Kaen Team

“Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” - John 17:25-26

Jesus’ prayer for His disciples highlights our unity as believers and Christ’s disciples, with Him in us and us in Him. This divine unity empowers us to be the light and ambassadors to others and binds us together in a shared purpose and faith.

We are the body that works together for the kingdom. Here is how God has worked through us as part of the body these past few months.

CROSS-CULTURAL PROJECT (CCP)

Our team has always been grateful for the opportunity to serve with the body of Christ from the other side of the world. This year, we had CCPs from two regions: Washington, D.C., and Lexington. CCPs are always the highlight of the first semester. They help build the movement in the ministry, and God has called many people to Him through them.

THREE STUDENTS COME TO FAITH

Praise the Lord for His salvation!

The ministry in the first months with CCP is high. We have built friendships with many new students, especially first-year students. Two weeks ago, we had an evangelistic retreat for KKU students. There were 30 non-believers who signed up for the retreat. God has worked in these students' hearts. There is ONE student who accepted Christ as their Savior at the retreat - Narin, and TWO students professed their faith afterward - Mark and Keng.

Many students who joined the retreat are interested in continuing to learn about Christianity and who Jesus is to them. Our team is following up with these students and continues to build interest in the gospel in other students who didn’t attend the retreat.

“I am studying at the Faculty of Medicine. I think everything has logic. I learned that what the Bible says about the world and history is true. It makes sense. So if that is true, it means what the Bible says about God, sin, and that Jesus is God and came to die for us to save us from the wrath of God is also true. I believe that I am a sinner. I need Jesus to be my Savior and lead my life.”
- Mark, a freshman at the Faculty of Medicine, KKU
